A full loop of inspiration

My name is Marsha Padlog. I am the one on the right. The lovely lady on the left is my daughter, Shannon.  She practices as a birth doula and placenta encapsulator in San Francisco. In 1986, I gave birth to her at home on Thanksgiving Day, and as she tells it, "My passion for birth actually began the day I was born!". Her birth story has been an integral part of her life and sparked her desire to become a birth worker and placenta encapsulator. So the inspiration comes full circle, with my daughter inspiring me to offer placenta encapsulation in my community. I love being part of the birth world in this way and wish placenta medicine had been around when I was a new mom! I look forward to meeting you and helping you with a smooth transition to parenthood.

Training and Certification

I am trained and certified through Association of Placenta Preparation Arts (APPA), which offers the most thorough and rigorous placenta preparation training available. I am current with my Bloodborne Pathogen Training. Both these certifications ensure that my encapsulation methods meet the highest standards for safety.
